Effects are sweet. How about an easy way to recolor them?

to recolor them
That's a feature of the Premium ($19.95) package, not the free one, Zubaz. (
Might be nice to have a way to shift the angle of the pointer from the X to Y and Z axes with a little 'jogger' type control...

I wish you could have access to the click effects of the free version. That would be such a great improvement on the program. I don't really need all of them. Just one. And yeah to be able to recolor would be awesome, too.

When you try to adjust something that is in the Plus version only, it just fades to the about screen with a very hard-to-spot "Plus Only" text that shows. It should really just be greyed out with (Plus Only) next to the title. I thought it was a bug until a few minutes later i spotted the Plus Only yellow text come up.

Just a few things..
When using the free version, make an additional window that allows the user to turn on the click-able effects so they can see how they'll work. Once you click outside of that box you can't use them unless you purchase the plus version. The free version should also allow you to change the color of your cursor but u cannot apply it, once you hit apply then it should take you to the Buy Plus page. I for one installed the Free version to see how well it would run on my Vista machine at this point and thus I can see why some people get upset that they can't at least have a small window to mess with the effects so they can at least feel what they are like. Just seeing them move on the effects page doesn't really help.
As for Plus (which I did purchase, with my XP discount thanks for that!), the colors section should contain a dropdown box for color choices such as Inverted, Custom and so forth. A color pallet or wheel would also come in handy as I know some who find the slider a bit too confusing/restrictive, also the use of a gradient color scheme would be fun as well. This version should also contain a light effect section, since vista has the light effects on the windows, add that effect to cursors. This would allow for more customization but also have a little more glossy/glass feel to the cursors. Not to mention if you could change the lighting colors so say when you move toward the bottom of the screen the light changes to green or blue and then move to the top and it changes to yellow or orange. I did read something about a similar feature so this might already be talked about, wasn't sure.
Also no matter which version Plus or Regular, the hotkey is very important and needs to be added back in.
Obviously I'm not a programmer, but I figured I'd toss out some suggestions.
It is a nice program so far, but there's definitely room for improvement as I see there are a lot of people who use or have used the XP version and see no real reason to upgrade to FX. Personally I can see their point to some extent, but 1 this is still beta, and 2 now you guys are asking for peoples requests which is awesome!
Happy Holidays to everyone out there in cyberspace!!

I'd like Bubblegum, OldSys and ProTools back into the default set

No real problems that I can see in the plus version, but a simple way to turn off the cursor shadow completely would be nice. To get rid of it now I have to manually position it to be hidden behind the cursor it self, takes a bit of time.

The funnest issue I met is that I can click the "New Package" to open the Theme Editor but after "save and apply", that theme is not listed in CursorFX Control Panel. Please add this feature soon, so I can add Ghost theme to the list.
Another request is that enabling easier navigation. Try every scroll bars in the Control Panel, you will find that you cannot keep clicking the arrows to scroll the bar (I do not like to release my finger). So please fix this strange behaviour too.

Can't seem to purchase the upgrade version from my registered Cursor XP Plus. Am I missing something here?

I'd like to see CFX get the ability to accept drag and drop from explorer to add new themes, especially if there's a large list of them.

The various settings sliders should be labeled such that you know what the slider position represents (light higher / lower and so on).
