This might already be in the plans, but CFX should have the ability to specifically unload (or disable) from within the application (or maybe mouse control panel integration like CXP).

Right now, all the unloads I'm doing require death by task manager.

Good suggestion. However the current Ctrl+Shift+V key (will be customizable) is used exactly for toggling CFX on/off when necessary.

Does choosing the Windows default unload it (like Windowblindes does)?  Consistency counts

Yes.

Yes.

I didn't think of that

Getting the keyboard navigation working would be very useful for when the cursor disappears (even selecting the default windows cursor doesn't work in some cases, and only an unload/restart gets it back).

Cool.

It would be useful to have a tab in the app (or at least a text file) that tells us what all of the hot key values are

I'm guessing that since the hot keys will eventually be customizable, that tab will also show the defaults.

On the settings tab: Display a section of the current wallpaper so you can see what the cursor looks like in the "real" world opposed to the white background.

Request:

Other buttons than LEFT or RIGHT support? also mousewheel support?

I can imagine it would be cool, when you move the mouse wheel the cursor changes into another animation (some arrows, or an actual mouse wheel with two moving arrows with alpha)

Talking about supporting other buttons, for example, one of the buttons in my mouse is configured to close any app, that's a good place to use that blue explosion animation, otherwise is too much cluttering to put it on the right or left button.

Another mouse button is configured to minimize apps, I think I can design some animation, I don't know a big red arrow moving towards the bottom, and fading out shortly, showing you've just minimized an app.

Another case, two other buttons are configured to go back/forward in webpages and windows, I can put a blue or red arrow pointing to the left or right and fading shortly, showing you've just moved back or forward.

that would be cool...

thanks!

Another cool feature would be to be able to allow to put "in-between" animations to go from one cursor to the other. Example, going from resize arrows to cursor. It would involve some sort of "intelligent" engine, that shows this or that in-between animations depending of which cursor you go from->to. (that way you can do morphs from cursors)

Another cool idea could be to implement an alpha blending crossfade between cursors, I can imagine a really quick crossfade will look fantastic!!!

I purchased CursorXP a few years back. Can anyone tell do I need to purchase Cursor FX or do I get Cursor FX plus to replace CursorXP? Thanks

This is a feature of the cursor, not the engine.  Many do jsut like you describe.

I'm assuming that means all current CXP Plus subscribers (purchased within the last year). Someone correct me if I'm wrong, please....
